Mature AI use in practice: from chatbots to agents and workflows
From AI chat to AI systems. This workshop takes participants from random, ad hoc use of AI (chatbots and generic prompts) to a more mature, process-oriented way of working, where AI becomes a reliable part of the working day.
We build practical skills in two concepts that have a far greater effect on everyday work: AI agents and AI workflows. Participants get a clear understanding of what these are (and are not), which limitations apply, and how to design solutions that give better quality and more consistency.

- Beginner to intermediate, with basic experience of AI chatbots (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude).
- Audience
- Office staff who want to take their AI use from ad hoc to systematic, repeatable value.
- Duration
- Full-day workshop: 7 hours. Can also be run as two 3.5-hour workshops.
Programme
- What separates ad hoc AI use from agents and workflows, and why mature AI use is about structure, not cleverer prompting.
- AI agents: basic principles and common pitfalls. What an AI agent is, how it is built, and tips for good instructions.
- We design and test a role-based agent for a realistic area of work, with clear goals, instructions and a relevant knowledge base.
- Workflows with AI in practice. We go through common workflow patterns and what AI does best, and demonstrate several concrete examples.
- We build a practical AI workflow with no/low-code tools, based on a realistic work scenario.
- How to move from pilot to systematic use in everyday work. We look at how to identify good use cases and define concrete next steps for further use of AI.
After the workshop you will come away with
- A clear understanding of the difference between chatbots, AI agents and AI workflows, and of what mature AI use looks like in practice.
- Practical skills in designing solid agent instructions with clear goals, rules and limitations.
- A concrete understanding of how to build a simple AI workflow that makes your AI use more predictable, structured and useful.
- A set of proven use cases across functions (HR, finance, marketing, sales, projects and more), focused on where AI adds the most value.
